The guitar can be identified as a basic instrument in many forms of Blues 6016,country,Flamenco music,Rock music and Pop music.It can also be identified as a singleclassical musical instrument.The tone produced by a guitar's vibrating strings may be produced by percussion through its hollow body,or may be based on an amplifier that manipulates the tone electronically.These types of electric guitars were introduced in the 20th century and continue to have a strong influence on new wave.

Traditionally,guitars were made from a combination of different types of wood and used animal guts for strings.But modern nylon or metal strings areused instead.Those who manufacture and restro guitars are called Luthiers in English..
